Loving Power 90 !!!! Did 1 week on FBE and I am just starting my second week on P90. I love and hate Tony. Don't get me wrong I don't hate him in a bad way, just during Ab Ripper exercises!

I like that he explains the exercises and every time I feel my form is improving. What I like is that is not a huge commitment 30 to 40 minutes a day. I do it first thing and get it out of the way. In the evening I do more if I want to. I am not following the eating plan 100%, I eat healthy within my SP range but allow myself a few calories on chocolate, if I want it I can have it. Also I have one meal a week (which I track) but build calories toward in the week. I have lost 10.5 lbs (4.8 kgs) in two weeks and I am super excited. I know progress will not always be the same, but so far so good!

Hi All,

Hello! I started with Beach Body Turbo Jam (after moving away from a gym that had Turbo Kick), and also incorporated Beach Body's Best Body Guaranteed. I have tried the Insanity - but feel that I should probably get myself back into better shape before making that a regular part of my routine.

I have recently decided to head back to Best Body Guaranteed, after hitting a plateau with my gym weights workout. It's something different, and still works the muscles. Wish me thin & toned!

hi all!!! been working out with beachbody products since 2004. i have gained, lost and gained my weight back a couple of time and frankly am tire of the back-n-forth. but the one thing that hasn't changed is my love of beachbody. hey danni--what's turbo fire?! some relation to turbo jam i'm sure but i've never heard of it. whatever it is, i'm sure it will be as cool as chalene's jam series.

Hey guys! Joined BeachBody SPARK team since I'll be mixing up my BB workouts for the next little bit. I love BeachBody & probably won't do anything else. They keep coming up with great stuff! Hello, my name is Tia.
I did Slim n 6 five years ago faithfully and firmed up a great deal!
I still use it occasionally. I use the slim n six pack part of the CD on it more than anything! I have turned many people on to it and of those who did it faithfully lost a lot of weight!
I also have her follow up to it, Slim Series. I enjoy all of them!
We are waiting on the power 90 to come in the mail. =) I enjoy Beach Body!

Kathy- good luck with slim in 6! I love Debbie and that whole program. I am sure you (and your sister) can commit to Si6 and you will be able to gradually work your way up to p90 & p90x...do you use your teambeachbody account at all?- you can log into WOWY each time you work out and win cash or prizes and that is some great motivation! I want to order 10 min trainer, but right now DH is unemployed. But maybe when he gets back to work.

I have a hard time committing to a full round of any program. But I started SI6 on Monday and am trying another round. I have a different motivation this time. My 34 year old sister was just put on blood pressure medicine. Now I think this is to young and she even said she realizes she needs to lose weight. So I gave her my extra copy of SI6. Although I don't think she has tried it yet. So I want to do the program and show her how much weight can be lost by doing the program. Plus maybe this will show me that I can commit to a program. I would love to complete a round of P90 and P90X.

Hi everyone! I just started P90X 2 weeks ago... today I just finished my last day of week two. I am mostly trying to get toned up for summer (and for life) and lose a few lbs too. So far, I have not lost any weight..actually i gained 1-2 lbs, however my waist,hips, leg measurements went down an inch... Did this happen to anyone else? I know I'm getting more toned and I'm only in week 2 but sometimes seeing a scale go up can be discouraging! :P

hi guys!

ive marked my official p90 start date as yesterday :) cardio and abs are today. so far the sculpt section is pretty challenging... i dont know if the cardio section will be much of a workout since i usually run 3-4 miles a few times a week

on that note, do some of you think the cardio section in phase 1/2 is worth it? especially if you are in decent shape? do you guys do any additional workouts to supplement the cardio on p90 or any of the other systems?

Welcome to our BeachBody team. We certainly seem to be growing by leaps and bounds...up to 24...I think I might be the only guy. emoticon I like those odds.

I did Si6 before I started my P90X. It was a great BeachBody start. Si6 has 3 different workout. Each one builds on the other. Some peope get a little bored with it because you are doing the same workout (the last 2) for 2 or 3 weeks in row. I'm not trying to scare you, just as a warning. Again, Welcome to the team.

Monkia, that is exactly what I did. I followed the Si6 for 6 weeks and took a week off and then kicked off my P90X adventure. I just started week 3. SI6 was a great start. I encourage even one to do a Beachbody program before trying P90X.

Hello, my name is Jamie. I ordered the Turbo Jam DVD's over a year ago and used them once and packed em away. I am MUCH more motivated now and am focused on my weight loss goals. I got the Learn and Burn disc out today and used it. It sure is alot of fun, even though I feel like the most uncoordinated person in the world! lol But I did get better by the end of the workout. I had ordered Power90 maybe 4 years ago and it was too intense for me--I'm a beginner when it comes to exercising! My sore muscles made me miserable. Good luck everyone! Hi everyone!

My name is Mimi and I've been doing TurboJam and then got turned on to the P90X program.

So, today is Day 5 and I'm hanging in there. I have Legs & Back tonight ---- yeek! I'm scared. But in a good way!

I'm so glad to see others that are working out with BB!

Hey Plunker - you've inspired me - I saw your starting weight is similar to mine and how much you've lost in the last 5 months - that's impressive. I want to do it too! If I can do the p90X program - and I have strength and muscle - with some fat covering it - as my hubby tells me (good heartedly), then I know you can do it.

My husband really motivated me to do it and he gives me so much support b/c I thought maybe I had made a mistake in getting them and he told me - You've always worked out = maybe not as consistently but you've always had some kind of regimen, you're strong and you have muscle - YOU CAN DO IT!

Hey guys,

I've done Power 90 as part of my program in years past with my uncle. I've been doing Billy's Bootcamp so far but I'm planning to switch it up for the month of May. My uncle is going to let me borrow his P90, the 3-4 one. (He's using the 1-2 right now) I've really been eyeing the P90X program. I think I have the level of physicality that it takes right now, but I'm thinking that I'll wait to do that until I get to my target weight. It will only be a couple more months now if I keep going the rate I'm going at. I'm happy to talk with any of you, my May challenge is to do the P90 3-4 program for the 6 days a week. So check up on me and make sure I'm doing it!!

Welcome, Michelle. My sister in-law has the TJ DVD's. I'm going to try and sneak them from her house this weekend...heck she isn't using them since she is pregnant...I'm want my wife to like them so I can buy them for her.

Hi;

I just joined this team. The only Beachbody series I have is Turbo Jam. I've been wanting to try Project You, but am looking for a litte more information on it. This morning I seen the Yoga Booty Ballet infomercial and that looks fun as well.

Turbo Jam is my favorite workout, although I alternate with Tae Bo. I love them both. I am one that has to alternate workouts or I get bored easy.

The 30th is my start date. I want to finish off Si6 and I have my Fitness test on the 25th for the Air Force. I don't want to kill myself and start before that date.

Yes, I do the same. I also have a hard time with the walking lunges. I generally dont as it is hard for me to keep up and get the right form. I can do squats with no problems at all! Im glad I listened to my body and took a rest day yesterday. Today my knee is fine. I think that is important too, listening and paying attention to your body. I tend to push myself hard.

When are you starting the X. I think you said the 30th? Have you received it? Ill let you know what we think. I am doing the lean version as I have 20+ pounds to loose. Still very challenging Im sure.

Thanks, Katie. I have to becareful with my knees also. They hurt when I do the lunge's. I go at my own pace when I do them and don't try to keep up. I just hurt myself if I do.

Hey Brian!

I do have a tip. I'm doing the P903/4. I did the cardio yesterday. During the side kicks I was not being careful and hurt my knee, I just whipped my leg snapping my knee. So learn from me everyone! Be careful. It is going to be fine, just sore. I'll be much more careful doing side kicks from now on.

Beach body work out tapes are the best!

P90X starting monday.
