I got this last week and I love it. I've got about 110 lbs to lose and I just started Friday so I'm excited to see what it does for me in a month. I do zumba twice a week so I was able to start mid week 1 (I didn't want to wait 5 days to start!) and then just started over again on Day 1 this past Monday. I don't think the moves are that difficult...but like I said, i'm used to do doing dance based cardio workouts. I've been doing zumba for a little over 2 years and it helped me lose 60 lbs (30 of which I have put back on, but that was my doing).
I tried Insanity a few months ago and I just felt it was a little too intense for someone with 100+ lbs to lose. I'm pretty short and my knees and feet were starting to hurt. I wouldn't mind trying it again when i'm around 30 lbs within my goal weight, but it just wasn't working for me at this point. Plus I wasn't seeing any results. Clothes or scale wise. I'm the type of person where I need to see SOME results to keep me motivated. Whether that's a pair of jeans fitting better or the scale going down some.
I was happy to find this posting...I am thinking of buying the DVD because it looks like fun, but I have quite some weight to lose (75-100lbs) and because of that, many workouts I try are a disaster...but I love to dance and it looks like fun. Has anyone out there tried Rockin' Body who has that much to lose? Thanks. Jennie
