Hopped on the scale this morning and realized I have maintained my goal weight for 1 whole month!! I'm still going through the trial and error of adding in more fruits, veggies, and whole grains....and maintaining my goal weight. Feeling pretty good this morning!

I am proud of myself because we had a going away dinner for my daughter n law who leaves for NY on tuesday to by be with my son, who is in the army......and I only had 2 slices of "homemade pizza", which is alot less caloric-wise than delivery pizza, and some salad. Then for desert there was all of the following:

Marie Callender Coconut Cream Pie
Brownies (homemade)
Lemon Bars (homemade)
Scandanavian Almond Bars (homemade)
Chocolate Chip Cookies (homemade)
NY Cheesecake (homemade)

All I had was one small piece of a Scandanavian Almond Bar.

Very good for me because I love the Lemon Bars.

Day 5 of being "IN THE ZONE". Eating and Exercise ON TRACK!!

I talked my roommate into walking to Food Maxx with me because we were running out of Bananas for our smoothies. Had to walk alittle bit slower than I normally when I walk on my own. But she did it with me, got her moving. Plus I talked her out of getting a bag of chips for her son (he is 2 yrs old) at the store. And she got the little "cheddar fishies" for him instead. Plus we got him to scarf down on some broccoli last night.

Today I started off with my fruit smoothie. After alittle sparking I will take the dogs for a walk. Woo Hoo!! I got in a 80 min walk today so far. I am on a roll. Then did a 35 min ST workout. And lastly did another 40 min walk. Now to fnish off with alittle more sparking. Hope to make it to Blackbeards tomorrow.

Okay, got one 40 minute walk in with the dogs, and ready for my morning snack. Plus I went through my workout DVDs and pulled a Denise Austin 20 min workout. Boy did I sweat and I was even working as coordinated and as hard as she did on the dvd. But I kept moving best I could and did it. Add 20 Minutes of Lower Body ST.

I worked out Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (gym), Sunday (home), Monday, Thursday, and today (gym). That's a miracle for me! I'm so glad I joined the gym! Tomorrow is skating for 2 hours.

I signed up at Fort Washington Fitness for 3 months! I love that gym. Kathi and I worked out there all summer but it's SO far from my house. I have to drive 30-35 minutes from work and then another 20-25 home plus the workout time. I'll have to find some time consuming things to cut out of my life to make it work but I am worth it!

I haven't given up on skating backwards yet. It's scary for me but I can't wait until I'm proficient at it. I can't pass that part of the class until I can skate backwards all the way across the rink (the short way) in a STRAIGHT line...lol! Maybe next week!

I am SO PROUD of myself for not wasting my day off! I exercised 60 minutes between walking, elliptical, and my weighted hula hoop. I stayed in all of my ranges and tracked everything. I cleaned my house, did all the laundry, and got my taxes done. I also got caught up on most of my school stuff. It feels good to accomplish so much.

Today I am super proud of myself because I did week 3 of the Couch to 5k program and ran for 3 minutes straight without stopping. I have NEVER done that before. I did 3 minutes run two minutes walk then 2 minutes run 2 minutes walk and repeated till I got to 20 minutes. THEN I did another 20 minutes walking on the treadmill and 30 on the elliptical. I was AWESOME today!

I am proud of myself for WALKING my son to school today. The last time he had school and I didn't I walked him and got bitten by a dog on the way home. I wasted my whole day off at a medical center.

I got some good exercise in because we were racing on the way and he's FAST. Then on the way home it started sprinkling so I walked super fast! Now off to the elliptical and my tax appointment later. I should be proud that I got all my tax junk together last night!

I completed my first 2 days of my group training I have committed to for the next 10 weeks for the weight loss challenge at Terrio Fitness. Oh I am so sore. My arms are sore, my quads are sore. But when I ache it makes me laugh because it was fun getting sore. We did all kinds of abdominal exercises and some interval training. I think I will love this program. emoticon

Today I passed up THREE desserts! German chocolate cake smothered in a New Orleans style chocolate sauce, fried bananas with vanilla ice cream smothered in a New Orleans carmel sauce, and cheesecake with strawberry topping. For someone with a sweet tooth as big as Chowchilla......that was huge! I refused to take 1 bite of anything.

I moved my sister ALL day yesterday .....and still managed to dance for 20 minutes today.

I know I already posted once today but I am SO proud of myself for taking skating lessons today. The teacher has been trying to get me to take them for months and today no one else was there so I did it. I've been too scared because I thought I would fall doing all the trick moves. I learned a lot and it was a GREAT workout! I was sweating like crazy!

I'm proud of my self today because when my husband said he was craving those potato wedges from savemart & said that we could also get other deli dept foods for lunch I chose salad AND added kidney beans to it (which I hate, but with the lack of meat I eat I need the extra protein).

I am proud of myself because even though I knew today was going to be a hard day doing some invasive tests at the hospital this afternoon I didn't let that be an excuse and still went to the gym this morning. I went further on the treadmill than I ever have before in my allotted 30 minutes and I also did 30 minutes on the elliptical. I really pushed myself this morning and upped some of my weights when working my arms this morning as well. I really feel I accomplished a lot today and overcame my dread of the day by giving is the best start I know how!

Yay me!
