Hi KART8889 That is fantastic I have struck a few problems with a Ganglion on my wrist and a bit of Osteoarthritis at the base of my thumbs. I am getting this sorted and hopefully I will be back riding in time to do the 'Around Lake Taupo' ride in November, with a lot of luck. It's a great feeling being out on your bike and hope you have many more great rides like your last one.
im kinda the newbe in cycling, my girlfriend hes now got me hooked on the whole road bike thing ! So now after a few months I just had to go and buy a new road bike and just love the sport! not to mention the calorie burn! We trained in March and April to do a 50 mile ride to end hunger and we did it with no problem! yaaaa for me and my new passion!

We are just heading into autumn but our weather is still good for riding. I have just bought a Scott Contessa racing bike. I had a short ride down the road and back to see what it was like. I will have to get used to the bike before I start long rides again. I have been riding a mountain bike up until now. Can't wait to have another ride tomorrow. Have a happy Easter everyone

Two hours is right at my limit these days. If spring would ever get here I would love to work on that.
One Day at a Time: 1) 10,000 steps daily 2) fruit & vegie at every meal and log 3) aerobic or strength train every day 4) 7 hours sleep daily 5) check in with SP daily

Hi, I know what you mean about not going another minute. I had 3 minutes to make the 2 hours and it was a big effort to just try and use up three minutes. I went around the same road 2 times to get to 2 hours. I messed up all my eating for the day because I had an after ride meal and another one an hour later. This is to help with recovery. It does work. You will find once you have done an hour and a half a few times you will be able to enjoy it.
