Sunday I was at 199.4. Eeek! The first time there was not a "2" in the front. Onederland? Of course today it said 201 again. Ha ha! I have learned that there's kind of a spring action at work on the weight loss though. My weight will go down and then back up a tad before my body decides I really am 199. So don't get down if the scale goes up! Sometimes your weight just has to bounce around :) Keep on keeping on!

Also, for the ones who have lost significant amts of weight, what is working? Is water helping? Sometimes, I think I load up on coffee, and then don't get enough water in my system, which i know should flush fat. I did low carb plans, and that worked the best for me, but it seems so difficult at times. And, I am not always good with sticking to a set meal plan, but the tracker helps:)

I am now up to 226:( and last summer, was so close the 207. I wasn't really using sparkpeople thsi year, and need to go back. I am going to start logging in this year, and getting back to a normal size. For my size, I should be around 150 to 165 pounds, where I can wear around a size 10 clothing (my wedding day weight). I am getting so frustrated. I can't believe I am over 200, plus some, because as a child, I had weight issues, and finally was skinny,exercising in college days. Since having my oldest child who is 7, I have not been below 200. Why does our body do this from having kids? I know someone who had their second child, and she looks like she is size 3-not fair. Sorry for my vent. I am also going to travel to a favorite place this week, where I know it will be tempting not to eat certain things... I really truly, want to lose weight this year. There are always hurdles, etc... stress seems to be a big problem for weight gain too for me.

Hi! New to this group...ready to get back in shape and into a healthy lifestyle. I have gained almost 70 pounds since my wedding 3 and a half years ago and after going up to 230 when I was pregnant I have really struggled to get below 200. But this is my year and I'm not giving up! I have a beautiful 9 month old who I want to be healthy for. My starting weight is 207' what day is the weigh in? Excited to be a part of such a positive and motivating group! :)

Lost 1 pound this week. Hoping for another but I have been sick and not able to work out. Chest is clearing out and hoping to be able to breathe this weekend.

Hey ladies, haven't been on in a while, been sick a lot.
I'm starting to workout again, today was day one back. So this will be my base weight.

Week 1: 212 lbs.

Something to think about, I was looking at shape online and they said that 1 lb = 3,500 calories.

Hi everyone,
Haven't been on this board in a while, but really want to lose. Current wt 225 pds. Trying my hardest to get past 200, or at 200. I can't believe I am actually over 200, it seemed to creep up on me:( So much weigh to lose. I have been working out consistently for 3 weeks, heavy cardio/circuit training. Eating very healthy this week, and usually a typical day is chasing my kids all over, cutting the grass, chores. I am trying so hard to lose and get healthy.

@ Life - NICE! Being forced to eat healthier definitely helps, huh? :)

No change for me this week, still at 233. However, I lost 1/2 a belly inch and 1.25 bicep inches. So I'll take the 0 pounds.

Now, if I hadn't had those chips Friday night... lol

i have gotten to 197 this week but im back up to 199 need to get back on diet and exercise. Been a busy week with me killing 2 cars in less than a week first one transmission went out so we got a new suv transmission is either going out or something else is wrong supposed to find out tomorrow.

So sad to see you go, but you move on to a better place that we all hope to get ANDYTHEALIEN. HEALTHNUT2009 keep up the momentum, you can do it.

Last week I did cheat on my vegetarian diet and you could see it on the scale. Back on track this week and I hope to weigh myself again later this week, crossing my fingers to see if I lose more weight.
