I was reintroducing a trigger food into my system, to see if it was still a trigger food, and sure enough, it was. I had just a tidbit of dark chocolate on a blueberry. Actually I had 3 of them. It didn't kick in right away, but about 15 minutes later. My stomach juices, started going, I could feel and hear them. Then my brain was screaming, "I want some.... I want some... I want some CHOCOLATE!!! I started screaming out loud to myself, but it just kept getting worse. I grabbed 4 bottles of water, headed for the computer room, started working on SP and chugging water. When I had finished 2 of the bottles, I was fine. No more stomach juices, no more brain screaming at me, I felt fine. I didn't binge, and about a week later, when I tried it again, there was NO REACTION, WHAT SO EVER!!! I've only had 15g of the berries, and they're still in the refrigerator.
I know that the same thing doesn't work for everybody, so all I can do is share what I did, to avert a crisis.
You don't need to go off the rails. Just IMMEDIATELY get right back on schedule with your healthy eating habits. Put what happened behind you, it's not something that controls you. YOU CONTROL IT!!!
