-Brushing my teeth signals the end of a meal or snack. It discourages going back for more food because I am committed to brushing again and again.

-Making a phone call.

-Steam cleaning floors.

The title says it all. What are your favorite distraction activities to keep you from giving in to a temptation or craving? Currently I have:

Do a chore
Go out with a friend
Put together a care package
Drink tea
Make new itunes music mixes
Go for a walk
Edit your computer files (photos, documents, etc)
Color/Draw/Paint
Write a letter/email
Call someone
Practice new hairstyles
Read a book
Browse the internet (fitspiration blogs, sparkpeople, etc)
Shop for presents
Do a manicure or pedicure
Practice new makeup techniques
Plan a trip
Try on your clothes/Rework outfits
Do a craft (Crochet, needlework, candlemaking, soapmaking, woodworking, etc)
Play a computer game/videogame
Read your reasons for losing weight cards
Take a long bath or shower
Write in a journal
