The "Diet for Life" is really just a continuation of the first book and workbook. I've read all three and she doesn't change the bases of her program in the 3rd book. I thought that diet was good in it's basic nutrition.

Hi Judi, thank you for the reply and the welcome. I did see the other book and your right they are similar principles. I absolutely completely believe in this diet. It is the only one that makes any normal sense to me. I am very glad I found this group! I just started my Diet Plan and it is so different changing my habits, but I keep telling myself things take time and I can't expect to be a perfect dieter. :)

This team has people who have used the old book or workbook and the newer book. (There might even be a third one?) So I think you have come to the right place.

I think we all speak the same "language" based on our Beck thinking, that we want to eat mindfully, hunger is not an emergency, give yourself credit, make your own health a priority, ... and many more. I believe that the different books might state things slightly differently, but the principles are the same.

Hi. I have the second book which is the Beck Diet for Life. Does this group include that book also or is there a separate group for that book?
