Make a deal to read ONE CARD. What is your brain SAYING when you turn off your phone?? It is telling you that you are worth the effort to read your cards? Is it saying "Oh, this is so silly and you will always fail?" Boy, I know that voice in my head sure has a line she gives me! Dr. BECK does have proven help, so use your "RESISTANCE MUSCLE" and read ONE CARD.

My friend, I have so been there. When I first started in November, I did so very reluctantly. On the very good advice of my husband, I concentrated on making only one change at a time. So I started with exercise. I promised myself that if I could get myself back in the habit of regular exercise for three months, then I would address the nutrition side (which for me is a far bigger demon). I joined a gym, recruited a couple of good girl friends to go with me and actually started to enjoy exercise for the first time. That gave me the motivation to start on the diet. One change at a time. Take your time. You can do this!

I guess things are going pretty good for me. I found a way to make a few extra dollars here and there with a part time job, so that is good. The diet isn't going so hot though. I really need to motivate myself a bit more. Really really. I've got to. Because I'm just not. Heck, I have my phone programmed to remind me twice a day to read my arc...what do I do? just turn off the alarm and go back to what I was doing. Sigh. Got. To. Get. Motivated!

Anyway, how is your day going?
