Even just one pound weight loss
= 4 lbs less force (stress) on knees when walking
= 6 lbs less stress on hips when walking

Overall, this translates to much lower risk for osteoarthritis and chronic joint pain. Not to mention the many other health benefits of even just small lifestyle changes!

So the next time your weight stabilizes or hardly budges from your previous weigh-in, be happy that you can celebrate even the smallest losses. =)
