I borrowed the book from the library at first. Then while watching my budget, bought the workbook. I went back and forth about buying the book too. I figured that the workbook still explains quite a bit. The book gives some more in-depth information if you feel you need more support.

Since the workbook is more interactive, having only bought that one was a good choice for me.

Maybe you could check out the book from a library first and see what you think?

Good Luck! emoticon

Welcome! And don't apologize for your questions or enthusiasm! I believe there is another thread discussing this issue; maybe you can look for it when you have more time.

I don't have the workbook because it wasn't out when I started. I believe the book has more information than the workbook and that they work very well together. I don't know if there is anyone who only has the workbook. I'm sure you could, at least, get started with the workbook, and the threads here with people's insights.

I'm sure someone else will respond to you soon with more info; I just wanted to make sure you were welcomed! Be sure to stop by the Daily Check-in!

The differences that I have found is that the book explains WHY you are doing each step- it outlines the purpose. I personally think that you could get by with just the workbook but the actual book is a great tool in itself. The workbook does make things a lot easier as you can keep track of all of your information in one location instead of in notebooks- keeps you from having to make the charts yourself also (perfect for those who have little time to work with).

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the book and workbook? I know the workboiok is a companion, but that's all the bookstore in my area had, so I picked it up. Should I order the main book too? Whats the major differences? Am I missing out on just having the one or what? So many questions! Ha! I'm just intrigued and excited by it, but wanted to know this before! Also, I apologize if there are alkready threads on this topic, I just had a break from teaching and wanted to send a query on this before I had to get to another class! Thanks!
