Eating got me into this mess and eating is going to get me out of this mess

I have found that a 'child size' cup of yogurt before retiring helps keep me thrugh the nite.
I think it might be the protein in the dairy. (?)

Hi! I also have fibromyalgia, so I "feel your pain" as it were! I'm also hoping that a change in my diet might help my pain levels. They do say that exercise can help your pain levels in the long run (it's just getting past the original pain to get that far :P ).
Midnight snacking is something I'm struggling with, but once I get into bed, I'm suddenly hungry! Looking forward to seeing you around!

Welcome! I too have chronic pain issues. Have you seen this video by Dr. Greger from Nutritionfacts.org.? (Dr. Greger scans the medical literature to find new research about nutrition and health and puts out a video every day. This one has to do with diet and fibromyalgia.)
Thought you might be interested. I found that my pain did improve as my diet improved. When I eliminated dairy and other inflammatory foods. My pain was more controllable. It did not go away completely, but it did give me some better days and allow me to have a more enjoyable life. (I have been on disabilty for many health issues for 4 years.) My diet is what is keeping me as healthy as I can be.

Here I am, just beginning my journey. It feels so good to track my food and exercise again, I don't know why I ever stop.Just hard to do good things for myself, I suppose. I have fibromyalgia, which can really get me down. I work full time, and cook good meals, my downfall is snacking. When I hurt, I tend to eat. I hope that this forum give me the kick in the jeans that I need to resume caring for me!
There is life in the old gal yet.
