I've been on this diet for LESS then a week (Since Sunday) and when I started I was 217.8. I weighed myself today and I'm not 216.6 so I lost a total of 1.2 pounds since sunday and I have 1 more day before my "official" weigh in. So I'm really commited to this diet if it keeps working this fast!!! :D

Hey. Okay, so I've been doing this for about a week, and I thought it'd be a good time to post how I'm doing.
I thought giving up meat 100% would be a little hard for me, but so far I've been doing great! I only slipped up one day (Tuesday) by ordering chili cheese fries at work, but that's been the only slip up. I didn't realize how many meatless alternatives there really were until this week.
Like morning star has veggie hot dogs, veggie bacon, sausage, corn dogs, burgers, and all this other great stuff. Then you have boca, and a new one called Lightlife. I'm not sure if it's new but I never heard of it, or saw it until this week. Maybe i wasn't paying attention? I'm not really sure how they do it, but I'm glad they do. So far I've only tried the Boca veggie burgers, but I got the lightlife today to try.
Does anyone know exactly how they can have veggie versions of hot dogs, sausage, bacon, and all this other stuff? I'm just curious. For breakfast I've been having the Dole fruit smoothies where all you have to do is add juice and shake for 30-60 seconds. It's really good, and easy.
I'm only going to weigh myself on Sundays after I get back from church, so I'm really curious if I lost any weight this week or not. I've also been trying to go more organic with what I eat. For dessert, I've been eating the weight watchers chocolate fudge ice cream bars, or I'll eat the organic chocolate ice cream from Publix.
I honestly feel like this is one diet I'm going to be able to stick too. It's already lasted longer then most diets I've tried! I think the longest diet I've ever been on has lasted 2 weeks. So I have faith this will be the longest diet yet!
I'm also thinking about joining a gym. I don't know though. I'm going to go see the gym offered by my company to see if it'd be a good fit for me or not. If it's not I'll just pay 25$ to get the gym key at my complex where I live. We'll see what's best for me soon enough. :)
Here's to staying strong, healthy, and vegetarian!
