Take this first week to familiarize yourself with the tools here. Once you get used to using them, it becomes easier to use them even when you are busy. Personally, I spent my first week learning to use the tools, and just tracking everything I was already eating and doing for exercise. It gave me a baseline to work from. It also gave me a chance to really decide what my goals were, and how to get there.
This site can only provide the support and the tools to reach these goals. You need to put the hard work in. Personally, I end up kicking my own butt every day. Feel free to check out my blogs to see how I kick my butt out the door to get my fitness in. I can tell you, once I am finished with my exercise for the day, I feel great. No more I should do this and I should do that. Instead, I feel accomplished, and able to relax and enjoy the rest of my day.

Hi, my name is Cynthia. I am on my second weight loss journey. A few years ago, after being overweight my whole life, I lost 90 pounds through exercise and healthy eating. Then when I got pregnant with my second child in 2009, I gained 50 pounds. Since then, I have not been taking care of myself very well. I am currently about 174, wanting/needing to lose in between 45-50 pounds. Being a single mother of two kids, ages 6 and 3, and working full time is exhausting. So making/finding the time to exercise is my biggest problem. I am so tired, all I feel like doing is laying around. But...I am so uphappy with the way I look. I cannot fit into any of my "skinny" clothes I once wore when I weighed 129 pounds. Plus, I am always so tired. I don't know if it is my schedule or my health ( I have a doctor's appointment in the next few days) that makes me exhausted all the time. I am sure being overweight is a factor. Not to mention my three year son is a nightowl and an early bird...lol..so even on my days off I don't get to sleep in. All I know is that I have got to lose this weight. I am working on a week straight of eating healthy, low calorie meals. My goal was to run on my treadmill at least 30 minutes a day; I accomplished that goal from Sunday to Wednesday (April 14-16), but has slacked off since due to not feeling well. But my eating habits have been good, so that's a step in the right direction. If anyone wants to motivate each other, keep each other accountable, or just have some good conversation....add me as a friend.
