Hi everyone. I have just recently switched from the standard American diet to transitioning to vegan. I have eaten a few things that were made with eggs or cheese, but have been pretty good so far about it. This is the path my heart wants me to take. I've just been resisting it for a very long time. I feel much more at peace with myself since beginning this. I think I've come through a lot of the initial detox, although my skin is still a mess, I'm beginning to see more energy and better sleep and the cravings for junk is gone. The discouraging part is that I havent' seen any weight loss yet, but it will take time to heal and I see the weight loss as a natural side effect of becoming healthy instead of trying to get healthy by losing weight.
