I have been vegetarian for almost 17 years (well it will be 17 sometime after I turn 30). I think I was about 13 when I quit eating meat. I never really liked it so it wasn't hard at all. I continue to try to eat sustainably and teach my son who is almost 7 about healthy eating. Unfortunately, I have let my diet and exercise routine slide and have gained about 40 pounds including about 20 in the last year.

My greatest hope is that I can find my way back to the strength and health I once had. I would love to be able to see my muscles again. I am struggling though as I seem to do well during the day but by the time dinner comes around I am tired and order out or something like that.

I am also trying to incorporate at least half of my workouts in the AM (which is very difficult for me) but that way I have time in the evening for other things. I really hope I can get back on track.. Trying to be conscious of my choices and think about how they will affect me later rather than just now.
