Welcome to the Team. I'm so sorry to hear about your son. What our kids go through affects us so much. It is said that a mother is as happy as her saddest child.
On the lighter side, Exercise is great! The good thing about it is that it helps in both weight loss and depression! It also lowers blood pressure and Can get type 2 diabetics off insulin even before they even lose weight.
Have fun with Spark People.

Welcome. You, your son and your situation are in my prayers. I understand about stress and money concerns. My hubby has a small business that the economy has been killing slowly for the past 3 years. And my stress level is so high, my doctor gave me a blood pressure monitor to take daily readings for a month.

I wrote a long complicated introduction on the main introduction page with hopes I could cut and paste it here. Ugh. iPads. I am 38 years old. Lost 80 pounds so far. Struggling with severe stress. Son attempted suicide, diagnosed bipolar 1 can't work, my income is not enough to struggle by and I have a deep seeded belief that I cannot possisibly actually lose this last 30ish pounds and be a normal weight. I have been obese since 18. Weigh 167 now. Up four pounds in two weeks from stress stress stress. Hoping to find some support on sparkpeople.
