I agree the tracker on here is awesome and the app for my phone keeps me on track when i'm not home...I've been a vegetarian for over a month now but have been with spark for 6 years...off and on..since I rededicated myself to my health this new year I've really learned just how bad I was eating..or not eating enough...Now i'm 35# lighter and looking onward to my goals! I tried WW for years and never had the kind of success I've had here on spark!
And in the end you'll see.YOU WONT STOP ME!

Eating the correct amount of calories is the only way you will lose weight. The only way you can do that is buy counting calories, one way or another. You can go on a program like e-diet, or Jenny Craig and have the proper portions sent to you or you can measure out food you prepare for your self and keep track of the food you are eating. And, you can't cheat or you won't lose weight. SparkPeople has a great computer program for keeping track of your calories.

you might want to check in on this plan before you do that, cause i know how much i hate counting calories, its call "the 10 - 10 - 80 and people are loosing a lot on it. just go to youtuble and type in 10 - 10- 80 and you will find lost of infor there and i will find the man's name that started it to help you more. i am going to start this next month as i didn't have enough money to started this mo.
I have been eating a mostly veg diet since last November. I lost a few pounds at the begining but that has tapered off. (I did go on vacation and over indulge a bit, so that didn't help.)
So, I've decided to try counting calories again.
