I recommend you consider watching the following documentaries, they are available through Netflex, and Red Box: Forks Over Knives & The Engine 2 Diet, Food Matters. Another that is available for free through Hulu is Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead. This one is close to the message suggested below to the 80/10/10 diet.

Hi thanks for the welcome :) I did forget to include I eat no dairy, eggs, nada. I eat as close to nature as I can get. I feel amazing in the short amount of time I have been at it. I will never go back to my old eating habits!

New member here! Been meatless (no chicken, beef, pork, turkey) since Nov 2011 but still ate fish off and on and until a few weeks ago :) I eat only whole - plant based foods, nothing processed, no soy etc. (with the exception of coconut milk) I gave it all up for health reasons and to get fit again. I look forward to reading and learning more from other members. :)
