3 little ones + USAF is demanding! You are in a good place to have support to reach your goals. I ditto the comments by Raworganicvegan. If you need some places to start, watch the documentaries Forks Over Knives & Engine 2, I think you can get them both through Red Box and NetFlicks (sp?). For ways to cook, check out www.nutritionMD.org & google "Engine 2 Diet", there are lots of info there. If you want to join a proactive online program Right Now, join the 21-Day Kickstart Program: http://www.21daykickstart.org I did this in January and it was great.

Id advise putting nutrient dense food first and foremost. Carb up with fruit and stay away from meat and dairy.

Good luck on your fitness goals! I look forward to hearing about your progress, tips that work, obstacles, etc. You seem so enthusiastic! I am sure you will be a success by October.
I, too, and trying to lose another 16 pounds that mysteriously appeared over the past few years. I was so busy in life (new start up business, a Son, home renovations, life) that I took a backseat in the whole busy life. Now I remind myself that it's SO important to take care of me! I will be a better wife, better person, and better Mom
Yoga is really helping me stay on track. Have you tried it? What is AD USAF, track and field?

I will be 32 in April and just had my third baby...what a blessing! I got pregnant nearly back to back with my boys...so now comes the hard work...time to get back to the gym! I am excited to have support here, becuase it is so easy to lose sight of my goals...super busy mom here (we all are!). This is making me really pay attention to my intake, remind me to work out everyday, and helping me know I am not alone in the fight! I am AD USAF and it is paramount to get back into fitness...my career depends on it! My family needs me to be healthy, too (lots of little ones to keep up with!). I have 30 lbs to lose and want to by Oct...wish me luck!
