hi, Dr Barnard has written a wonderful book on reversing diabetes with food, it is a vegan way of eating, it is awesome and i follow it to the letter and have found it just the best. Not only for diabetes but for weight as well and many other illnesses, easy to follow and no counting or measuring food which is even better as that is my pet hate, oh also if you have a look he has just started a 21 day kickstart which would be good for you to see, good luck
Up at the top of the page.. you will find a heading 'COMMUNITY'.. click on it and scroll down to SPARK TEAMS....you will get a screen with an open spot where you can spell out what kind of team you want to find. Then go to that list and cruise through it to find one that meets your needs.
This is serious! You should talk to your doctor and have her/him set up meetings with a nutritionist who specializes in Diabetes. We can be your buddies later to bounce around ideas with, but you need professional advice. Good Luck -march
