I do think a change to veg will help. One thing that can cause migraines is aged cheeses (like Parmesan). Also migraines are sometimes linked to tooth problems (including tightly spaced teeth) and jaw problems (including TMJ).
The one piece of advice I wish someone had given me is don't try to find substitutes for everything (meat and cheese substitutes, etc.).
For the first several weeks (at least) use the tracker to plan out your meals and snacks. This will help you make sure you eat a balanced diet and will help with budgeting and shopping.
