I love learning! And like you said its important to maintain a healthy lifestyle while in school because its so easy to fall of track. With staying up late studying and then munching on fast food or chips or something easy its hard to stay on track. I'm really making a point to eat well and exercise as much as possible!
Thanks for the words of encouragement!

That's pretty cool that your sister got to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, although a bummer she didn't get to make it to the top. I can't wait to go. Over this past weekend a friend and I went camping at Lassen Volcanic NP and we did tons of hiking and even climbed to the top of Lassen. I was so out of shape and it really made me realize how much more i really want to get healthy. But I must say hiking is a great workout. If you get a chance to go explore the outdoors I strongly suggest you do. emoticon

Welcome aboard!
You are never too old or young to learn. College is a good time to get yourself focused and see what you can do.
Go for it!
Be sure you go for the healthy lifestyle while you are at it. Getting plenty of sleep, eating and exercising right will pay off. Trust me! I've spent most of my life in colleges and universities. emoticon

glad you're here. my sister has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, and loved it (though she was on a missions trip and didn't make it quite to the top)
good luck on your journey!

I am a new spark person. My friend told me about this site today and she suggested that I join to help keep her motivated...but it looks as if there will be plenty of folks on here to keep her motivated as well as keep me motivated. I'm looking forward to getting back in shape!! I'm currently a college student with little free time. But one of my goals for when I graduate is to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro so I really need to get healthy and get in shape. Can't wait to get to know you all. emoticon
