Firefighter that's cool....definitely a great way to get in shape!
EMSGIRl13! This is a wonderful site, but unfortunately, Sacramentons are not too active on the boards. I wish you the best of luck on your firefighting position and work outs!
Spark has a lot of great resources and video workouts and demos, and a lot of active teams that can keep you accountable. Just look around the site, and I'm sure you will find something great that fits with your interests. And of course, come back here as often as you want! I am usually on here at least once a day:)

I'm Mar, and This is my first time on Spark People... It seems like an amazing resource, and I'm really excited to start my journey to health!!
I am currently around 280 lbs, although I've been told I look much less, and I don't feel like I'm 280 lbs. I love to swim, do Judo, and be active and busy in general, but unfortunately I seem to love eating even more. I tend to stress eat, especially when I get home late at the end of the day and feel the need to eat to "destress".
I'm hoping that keeping myself accountable on here and replacing stress eating with something healthier (like working out) will get me on the way to success!! :)
I just received word that I got a secondary application/interview for a volunteer firefighting program... I know for sure that will kick me in the butt (in a good way), and I am going to work hard to become the healthiest, leanest paramedic firefighter out there!! :)
Just keep swimming, just keep swimming!! :)
