Hi Everyone...
I am not new to Spark, though I have been hit and miss in being here on the site on and off for years. I am however new to the Arden Arcade area... live off of Marconi. I used to live in Roseville/Rocklin area. I am having a hard time adjusting to the area, and so my weight, which I was maintaining with plenty of walking when we lived in Roseville, has gone up again, as there just is not a lot of sidewalks in my area and I find it hard to motivate to get in the car and go to one of the parks that are very close by when I have to go by myself. I am hoping someone here lives close to me and perhaps we can meet 1-2x a week and walk... maybe meet for coffee once in a while or just go window shopping or out for a healthy lunch once in a while. Life is too short to sit alone in the four walls as much as I do. Though I do not drive that much, due to neck issues, so would really like to keep meeting places in the Arden Arcade area.

A little bit about myself... I am 46 years of age. Don't let my age scare you, I do not care how old or young you are. It is about making a connection. I am a wife, mother to three grown girls, I do not work due to having fibromyalgia and various other health issues.... not that I let that stop me from living. I enjoy writing my blog ( a life blog) , remodeling and decorating our new to us cottage, window shopping, reading Cozy Mysteries, surfing the internet, going wine tasting and going on Sunday drives with my husband.

Hi I am new to the team. I was on WW and lost 65 lbs, life got in the way and I gained it back, then retired and gained another 14 lbs. Having a difficult time getting motivated. I have bad knees, osteoarthritis, so walking is out. I will be going back to the gym starting the beginning of the year and will be using the pool and the gym at least twice a week. I am still on WW and going back to the original plan and will be tracking everything I eat, including the bites, licks and tastes at COSTCO. I also will be tracking my Sodium, which has helped me before. As long as I keep it at 1500 mg I will lose. Trust me, that is a very big challenge for anyone.

Hi everyone... I am new to this site. I am really excited about trying this, but so scared I am going to fail because I have a habit of sabotaging myself. I have been overweight my whole life and really want to get down to a decent size for my health both mentally and physically. I don't have much support from the people around me so I really could use some motivational friends to help me keep going.

Hello Spark Sacramento! Three days traking and I lost 0.6 pounds and made a green smoothie for the first time! I have a lot of weight to loose. Any good advice out there?

Yeah - I can get sucked in for hours sometimes! Start small.....lurk on some boards. Track your food. You'll get the hang of it in no time! And don't be afraid to ask questions!

Hi everyone, I am new to this site and this team. It's actually a little over whelming, but I'm sure it gets better.

A little about myself, I have been on my weight loss journey for 75 weeks now, I began on March 2, 2010. I have currently lost 145 lbs. and went from a size 24 to a 12. It has been the best experience. I have 50 more pounds or less...but I have hit a plateau for about 2 months now....I had surgery in May and the doc advised I needed to slow down...I have not gained, and have not lost...

I am looking to meet others that know and understand the importance of our journeys. I have lost a lot of weight, and I am ready to reach life time goals..
