Hi! I just wanted to welcome you to the team. This is a great team.
I have a 4 year old and a 6 month old. I thought it was going to be super easy to lose my pregnancy weight after my daughter was born but unfortunately I was still in the habit of eating way too much food!
Good luck on your weight loss journey and finishing your graduates degree!
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be

Hello all, I am fairly new to SparkPeople and really enjoy it so far. I am a wife, mom and graduate student (almost done!). I had my son 18 months ago and have really struggled with my weight ever since (I have never been super tiny, but definitely in MUCH better shape than I am now). It is so sad to say, but I actually lost a lot of my pregnancy weight right after my son was born, but then gained a bunch back. I am trying to make real changes to get back in shape and be healthy. Thus, I joined SparkPeople to log my calories, keep track of my fitness and try to get a support network going. Here is to a new journey to get healthy so I can be happy, feel better, look better, and be a good example for my family!
