You said that you were looking for ways to work out with your son...when my son was about 3 months old we started "stroller hiking" along the bike paths and through flat hiking trails in our area. I actually set a goal to visit 30 parks in 8 weeks - which we achieved :) I'm sure in Southern CA you have many beautiful places where you can take your son in the stroller.
There are also "Stroller Striders" workout classes in some areas, where you go as a group and they do it like circuit training. You could google it and see if there are any groups near you.
My name is Sammy, I'm married to a wonderful man, we got married in October of 2009. He is an active duty marine, he just got back from his 3rd and last deployment. We live in Southern California on Camp Pendleton. We just had our first baby, a beautiful little boy in August. I'm looking to become more healthy and lose the baby weight i gained (and then some). Having a 2 month old doesn't leave me a lot of time to work out, so i would love to find new ways to work out with my son. I'm interested in finding a buddy if anyone else is too.
