MJA716- Thanks so much for all of the info! I am def going to be taking your advise. I saw my doctor today and I don't have the all clear yet to work out, but in another week she said I should be good to go. I am excited :)

I just recently listened to an interview Jillian Michaels did with Success magazine and she said "Calories in vs. calories out and eat real food. That's all there is to it. I just gave you all need to know." Of course, she went on to say that doing that isn't easy and that's why she has been so successful in her career but, when it comes down to it, those are the basics!
To get more specific, you should definitely follow the Spark Diet. It's really helpful and should get you moving in the right direction. You can find it here: www.sparkpeople.com/resource/sparkdi et .asp Once you get the all clear from your dr. that it's ok to start exercising again, start out nice and slow. Maybe put the baby in his stroller and start walking around the neighborhood. Like Jillian said, try to eat real food as much as possible and DRINK YOUR WATER!! I hope that helps!

Hi everyone! My name is Josie, I am 25 and a first time mom to a 6 week old baby boy.
I have lost almost 40lbs of my baby weight, but I basically didin't do anything to loose it, it kind of just came off on it's own. I gained nearly 60lbs of weight from being pregnant and I am in need to loose it all and then some.
The only problem is I have no idea where to start, I am so confused and overwhelmed with the idea of loosing all of this weight that I don't even know what to do.
If anyone can give me any tips that would be really helpful.
I currently weigh 168 lbs, and my goal weight is 145 lbs.
