That certainly is a challenge! I wish I had some advice for you but I'm afraid I haven't got any. I travelled home for Christmas and it was amazing how poorly I ate, being back in that 'homey' environment with lots of comfort food and junk food around! You can beat this thing!!!

Thing is now that I don't have kids in the house except my one grandson at times I find that I have more junk foods here than when my girls were growing up, I guess it's because I was always so active. Also, having these injuries has made it so dang difficult NOT to want to eat because you get depressed just thinking what's gonna happen next as far as surguries and such so, I'm trying NOT to feel sorry for myself.HOWEVER, IF someone would please tell me how to exercise under these circumstances I'D LOVE IT. Anyway, THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT and good luck to you as well.

Shannon... THANKS for the support and yeah it's good to know that you've found someone. That's one thing I've never had to worry about before now is how people (men mostly) treated me until I gained all this weight and it's like you have some kind of fungus. But, I'm trying this and perhaps it will help I'm hopeful. Good luck to you as well.

Welcome Blue! Living single really helped me lose weight. I kept nothing but healthy food in the house. I suppose I'm not quite single anymore, living with someone now and it certainly has made things a bit tougher.... take advantage while you can!
I wish you nothing but success with all your goals! We seem to scare off most of the men on the team but maybe some will be brave enough to stick around in the new year?
Hi Blue, Welcome to Spark. I love Spark -- it has really helped me change into a healhier lifestyle and the weight loss has been good too. An advantage I am finding in living single is that I don't have to keep junk food in the house. I used to tell myself I was buying things for other family members -- WOOPS. I don't have any excuses now! Good luck. When you feel good about you and your lifestyle, good things happen.
