Great suggestion. Hadn't thought of that one. Beyonce has a great dance song out which is a workout called Let's Move your body - its a music video on utube with all the moves to follow.

Hi I'm Gina, also new to the team. I was at kickboxing yesterday and the instructor has added "I Like To Move It" from Madagascar to her playlist and I hadnt realized before that what a great workout song it was. So I added it today and was on the hunt for more when I found this team!! I am thinking of joining an actual gym and will need music for cardio time.

Hi Shannon. Welcome. I have only just started posting even though i joined the team a while ago. I love music too. I teach piano so obviously love classical but I am keen on various pop groups like Take That, Girl's Aloud, Shakira and Enrique Iglesias to name a few. I find this music great for motivation and hope to exercise to it all. Have a listen to Barbara Streisand by Duck Sauce, Las Ketchup and Yolando be cool "We no speak Americano" - great moving songs!! emoticon

Hi, all! I'm Shannon. Not new to SparkPeople, but new to this team. Music has always been a HUGE part of my life (I majored in music in college) and finding new music to workout to is my constant drive. :) I've spent today searching other teams, message boards, google, you name it to find some new tunes and have been downloading like a fool. I love summer break. :)

A few years ago I joined SP and lost 85 pounds, then slowly gained it back through my master's degree and divorce. So now I'm back with 40 to lose to goal and spending my summer off (I teach middle school) refocusing on me and reestablishing healthy habits.
