I am 72 years old. I have been married 56 years. I have a wonderful hubby that requires most of my time. He has Parkinson's. We have two wonderful children and two precious grandchildren. The last two years have been very hectic, stressful and sad for me. My hubby has gone from 235 down to 142 without trying, has been very, very sick. From October of 2006 until March of 2007, he would faint and fall,if I didn't manage to catch him, 3 or 4 times a day. Using this as a crutch, I gained about 15 to 20 pounds, depending on the scales that particular morning...it varies so, it is hard for me to keep up with it. So, now I am trying to lose and it is not easy as I am sure most of you know. The older we get, the harder to lose. But I am giving it my best.
I love God, family and friends...in that order..I can not imagine this world without any of these in it. Friends come in all ways..like here on this site. I have become very good friends with people I probably will never see, but they are there for me when I need them...and I for them.. Give someone you know a big hug and let them know you care.
to all of you!
