Move with someone. A friend is the best exercise equipment there is! Find a walking buddy, swimming buddy, workout buddy. Join a health club or Y with your bud or on your own. Make friends in an exercise class. You are much more likely to do an activity if you have a pal to meet and motivate you. Not only will you be doing your body good, but studies have shown that social connection helps keep our brains healthy. And have fun!

Tomorrow is my birthday and I will be 70 when I wake up! Now to keep that positive attitude and get on with the rest of my life. I am NOT a mover and I really need to be one. That is the one thing that I am not consistent at. I need to find a reason to get up and walk (or some other exercise) every day. House work and gardening are not enough for me. Any ideas or suggestions? I am listening.
