thanks, I will definitely chack out the Lower salt Intake team. I usually enjoy cooking and we generally eat fairly healthy. The biggest struggle is going to be for my husband. I think he may be addicted to pickles...well anything pickled. I signed him up for this site too in hopes that he will use it and find it helpful.

Welcome Mrs.Fundy! I'm Marcia. Cooking healthy takes lots of effort. I'm not much for cooking lately. Lean Cusine,Weight Watchers, and Healthy choice have been doing most of my cooking. I add a cooked veggie or a salad and that's our meal. I find myself wasting less and spending less. Smoothies are great too. Hope you endoy and get as much from this website as I am! Marcia

Hi, I'm new to this team and this website. I joined this team because my husband went to see a cardiologist last week. He may have a heart condition (which the Dr doubts but scheduled an echocardiogram to be sure) but even if he doesn't, the news was not good. My DH has very high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
I am trying to help him by cooking healthier, which I had already been doing, but now I pay even more attention to labels for everything.
