There are days that I struggle with mine when I get so tired. My mother passed a way with a major heart attack in the year of 2007 and I am so scared that I can too so I thought I will do something to keep my self healthy and when I found this web site and read people goals and how they meet them it rally encourage me. I really hope there is someone out there that can be my friend to help me along with my weight loss. Have a great weekend!! Tammy

Hi everyone. I have been a member of sparkpeople since 2009. Never really took getting fit serious until January of this year. I turned 40 this year and decided that it was time that I did something about the way I felt and looked. I have been going to the gym 5 days a week since January and have lost 18 lbs. Should be more than that, but I am also strength training. So, I guess all things considered.........It is amazing to me how different I feel after just 3 months. I look forward to going on this journey with you all.
