Welcome Laura, I understand what you are going through. I separated from my husband 8 years ago and lost 65 pounds .. a year later I cam back to him and have regained all of that weight. I am getting a divorce now and moving out of state. The difference is that my only child and his wife lives near by. It does not matter where you live and who you live near by .. what matters is that you are happy and the weight lost will be for you and for you alone.
Welcome back. If you can't handle the gym, try some chair aerobics on YouTube. At least you'll be getting a workout.

Welcome, Laura. It is quite difficult to try and lose weight or keep it off when we are under a lot of stress. Sounds like you have had more than your share of struggles, but now you are back on track. This is a great team, and I have learned a lot from other members here. My name is laura. i have been on spark people before and lost 25 pounds. That is all now gained back and then some. I ended up getting a divorce moving to a state where I dont know anyone not even family lives nearby. I did not have the motivation and I was so down in the dumps I could not continue. I am now in a better place still in a state where i dont know anyone besides coworkers that usually change all the time and my boyfriend. I am trying to get myself going and to get my cholesterol under control as well as my weight. I still cant go to the gym due to a sprain in my leg. i even have problems going to my apartment since i have to walk up 15 stairs. Monday however i am going to try and go to the gym to work on arms. hope my leg feels okay to go.
