Hi I am new to the group as well. I'm a 37 y.o SAHM who lives in MA. I'd like to lose about 40 lbs. I have three children including an 11 y.o with Autism and other diagnoses. I have high blood pressure and something called LVH (Left Ventricular Hypertrophy). All the women on my mother's side have died of heart disease of one type or another. My mother has a defibrillator. I want to lose weight so I can live as long as possible and be more healthy. Previously I was a Vegetarian for 3 1/2 years. Yesterday I decided to eat more healthy, whole foods including adding some meat back into my diet (Beginning with chicken, plan on adding some turkey and a bit of beef as that's the only meats I ever ate before). I didn't make a good Vegetarian. I was tired all the time, had no energy, felt sick, was always hungry and actually gained weight. I plan on eating more healthy and exercising more. I'm glad I found you all.

welcome. Start by making small changes to your diet as you master add new ones. Also track your food each day. Everything you eat write down you'll be amazed at how fast the calories add up. You have your family, church group, and now you have your spark friends to help good luck emoticon emoticon
