Welcome - good luck on your journey. I've found lofty goals hard to accomplish and I have to break them down into achievable goals working toward my main objective. For. eg. to lose 10 lbs by Valentine's Day, and after achieving, 10 lbs. by Easter, etc. until the 75 lbs. is gone. Good luck.

Welcome! Glad to have you with us. I totally agree, in order to make true and lasting changes in your lifestyle take it a step at a time. Trying to do a total change all at once only leads to chucking it all up in the air and giving up. SP is a great place to find how to make those changes and full of people glad to be here to support you in them. I think most of us have been in the same place you are right now. One HUGE help is to write down everything you eat, either in the food tracker here on SP or a notebook, whatever, to show you what you really are taking in and help you make those changes. Again, welcome!

Welcome. Your best chance at being able to stick to the changes you make in your life is to start slow, making one small change at a time. If you jump in with both feet you run of risk of being overwhelmed. Good luck.

Hello. I an a chronic dieter. Well, I should say, diet starter. I very rarely make it past a few days. That is why I have chosen to call myself madhatter78. I try to follow a diet olan and lose interest quickly. However, I am hoping to stick with lifestyle changes, once started, to reach my goal of 75 lbs gone. This is a lot, but I have seen it done. Wish me luck.
