Welcome. Glad you're here and willing to keep on trying. I smoked most of my life. When I tried to quit I failed, over and over again for years, no matter what I tried. Then suddenly something worked and I haven't smoked in fifteen years. I look at weight loss the same way. We fail until we succeed. The trick is to never stop trying. This site is a big help but we have to find what methods are the best fit for us. So don't get discouraged if the first plan you try doesn't work as well as you'd like it too. Just tweak it and try again.

Hi! My name is Jeanne and I am 29 years old. I am 100 lbs overweight and I want to change my life. I honestly have increased health problems lately and it is scary. I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago and it just causes hormonal imbalance which causes many other undesirable things. I also just recently was diagnosed with asthma and my blood pressure has been high. I honestly am scared that if I don't change I am going to cut my life short and keep gaining weight and getting sicker. I am a single mom of a beautiful 9 year old daughter and I want to be healthy and teach her to be healthy. I have struggled with my weight my whole life but really gained weight during and after my pregnancy (about 50 lbs) and later gained 50 more lbs on top of that. I am an emotional eater and I really struggle with sticking to any plan . I am going to try my best because I want to change. I am open to meeting friends and accountability partners on here. I really need help. I've tried to do it myself several times in the last 2 years and failed. I frankly can not do it by myself and need support and this website. I would love anyone to comment on hear and share their story, progress, struggles, achievements, and anything they want.
