Hi, I'm Mandy and 27 years old. I'm 90 pounds over weight. 7 years ago during a pregnancy I was diagnosed with CHF. I delivered early and went on medication. I did not parent the baby. I weighed 267 pounds at that time and quickly dropped down to 155 thanks to not eating and all of the lasix. My cardiologist released me from his care after my EF raised to 50%. I became pregnant shortly after and became a single mom. I dealt with depression, and all of the raw emotions that I had buried with my first pregnancy. Now I am overweight, tired, and experiencing palpitations. I've checked with my family doctor to ensure there isn't a relapse. Turns out I'm just fat. Hurts to hear that if I just would lose weight I would feel better. My husband is not overweight. It's hard to come to terms with my unhealthy habits and I am hoping this will be a great first step. Thanks.
