Hi Mizzee,

Welcome to SparkPeople! I've been here only a little over 2 months and felt a bit overwhelmed at first too. The best advice given to me was to start by using the nutrition tracker and not worry about anything else in the beginning. That can be an eye-opener. The first month on SP I spent mostly learning my way around.

Welcome - like you, I am Type II Diabetic and I have heart issues - and Crohn's and others. This site is a bit intimidating at first but I think once you get the hang of it you'll enjoy. I've been on for several months now and I am nowhere near to knowing how to do or find everything. I think you'll get the motivation and encouragement you want here.

Hello to all.....I am here as a newbie. I'm not sure how to navigate this website. I am Diabetic 2 & do have some heart issues that have slowed me way down as far as physical activity. I do some walking probably 15-20 mins. & try for 3 times a week. However I have not done this in quite sometime. Its an off & on thing. :) Anyway, just like many of you I hope to get a lot of support & motivation. Cheers & Cheers to all. Have a teeerific wkend.
