Hello and welcome
All things are possible if you only believe, even losing 15 pounds
Welcome. There are so many people on this site I'm sure you'll find someone with problems similar to you own. I hope you will be able to make the life style changes necessary to get you off the roller coaster ride you've been on. Good luck.

I am a 38 year old born with congenital heart defect. I had a BT shunt at age 1 1/2, Tetralogy "repair" at age 3, pulmonary valve replacement at 19 and 2 ablations at 35. I have been on a roller coaster ride with my weight since my heart function became quasi-normal after my pulmonary valve replacement. I managed to lose 40 lbs in my 20s and have been up and down a couple of more times since then. Now I am at the highest weight I've ever been (174 at the start of this journey) and I'm looking to lose the excess weight and keep it off.
i am wondering if there are any other adults with congenital heart defects on this forum.
