Suggestion regarding semantics: 1) Eliminate the word try from a sentence and it becomes a positive statement 2) Say won't instead of can't--that is saying truth 3) Never say never
Aside from that--a few personal hints 1) Weigh ONCE a week--same time, same scale, same clothes (no, not nude!) 2) Each week when you weigh take your measurements 3) Write down EVERYTHING you are eating and put the caloric count plus cholesterol, fat, protein, sodium, carb counts---again that is EVERYTHING you eat--yes it is work but getting the weight off (and keeping it off) is work!
Go for 5 pound goals or say you weigh 201 pounds go to get below 200 and then below 190, etc.
