Along with SP (which I love, been here since 2006), I really recommend LiveFitRevolution.org (free, they're not selling a thing) for fantastic nutrition plans and workouts. You do have to register but I've never received a bit of spam and I've been on there almost a year or 3/4 of a year, something !

Hi, I let my membership lapse because I was without internet for a long time and was maintaining my weight pretty well. Last week, I had a heart attack and have to make some significant changes in my diet and lifestyle, and immediately thought of SparkPeople. I'm glad they matched me up with this team, I'm just hoping for support and encouragement from people who can relate. I guess right now I'm still doing okay but having some trouble sleeping (kind of scared to go to sleep?) and having a hard time fitting the amount of the nutrients I'm supposed to be getting in my allotted calories for the day! Really would like to get some help with that. Anyway, it's good to be back and I'm not much of a poster but looking forward to absorbing all kinds of information here!
