welcome. Any little bit that you do will help. I my self an recovering from heart surgery and needed to start slowly and would add a little bit more to my exercise as I felt better to do it. I have lost 50 Lbs since June. I have been tracking my nutrition and exercise with sparkpeople and have gotten lots of motivation from members of sparkpeople.there are a lot of people that are going thru what you are and they will be ready to step in and give you tips, encouragement and motivation So hang in there and you will see improvement and a better life

Help! I am just starting and I lost 34lbs already not trying but cause of my health. Now i want to lose to get healthy! I dont know where to begin! I gave up my pop, I am starting to eat better, I also am going to start to work out. (10 min and add weekly) and I want to walk 4x week or more. My goal is to walk around the block by Nov. I know you dont think that alot but can't walk 4 houses with out sitting. (On oxgen) week heart. Slowly working up my strenth. I am a talker my nick name was mouth growing up! So feel free to send me messages I will respond. I set my goal for 20 lbs by Christmas, but my over all goal is 50lbs. Good Luck all, take a deep breath and smile!
