If weight were only as easy to lose as keys, phones, and such........;-) I have been hauling extra pounds since 2008 when my heart stopped. Started babying myself out of fear, no more. Started this June with a new attitude. I know my body was made for food that is grown, so raw potato replaces chips. Apple replaced handy snacks. Low sodium nuts for another healthy snack. Natural peanut butter on veggies and apples is great. I enjoy treats that are not grown maybe one day a week and really cut down my other calories for that day. Lots of water, and enjoy time outside away from the food. Loss of about 2 pounds a week when I stick to it. I also blend an EAS drink with one banana and 1 cup frozen fruit per day for the nutrients my heart needs. I avoid surgerys, but good luck if that is your choice.

Hi my name is Angie and I'm a 48 yr old grandma of 7. I have had trouble with my weight pretty much my whole adult life. I have decided to have Weight loss surgery (WLS). I am preparing for it now. I am NOT doing it for cosmetic reasons, I am doing it for MY health. I have tried dieting in many different forms.. I can lose a few pds then it comes right back with a vengeance.
Take one day at a time.
