You can find chair exercises on the web. Just google "chair exercises" or "seated exercises" and you'll find some.

Resistance bands or light ankle and wrist weights (or light dumbells) will help. The resistance bands are very versatile because you can use them for both upper body & lower body strength exercises. You can find them at Walmart or any sporting goods store, and they are very inexpensive. I have a set of 3 bands - light, medium & heavy resistance, for less than $15.

I am hoping to lose 40 lbs in spite of the fact that I am on meds that cause weight gain. Hope I can find the right foods and the right exercises to help me do this. I am unable to walk very far due to health issues, but I do pool exercises and hope to do chair exercises.
