Hi Craig,

Joining SP is a step in the right direction! Use the resources here and the sparkteams (this and others) to get information and support. This community is amazing. :)

I was also young when I had a heart attack (38) and it was a huge wake up call for me. That experience changed my view of my body... I now look at it, tummy and all, as wonderful and amazing, after all, it carried me through the hardest thing I'd been through! My advice is to just focus on your health and on treating the body that took care of you so well by keeping you going as the wonderful thing that it is. :)

It's late in the evening and I'm starting tomorrow. Got less than an hour less of today.

I am 35, and had a small heart attack 3 days after my 30th birthday. (got 4 stents put in) I am slightly heavier than I was then and still smoke. I know, I know. This is something stopping this week.

Started getting more worried because my size does not look like my weight and I worry that fat is storing inside (around organs) also I am getting decent nights sleep but I am tired in middle of day (last echo-cardiogram was fine a few months ago). Worried that extra weight is causing sleep apnea. (not good for someone with a heart condition)

I need to lose weight, quit smoking and get healthy. The sooner the better!!!!

Any help, tips or suggestions would be awesome and helpful.
