I will do what I need to do, in order to be who I want to be.
Eat a little bit and quit!
I would love to participate in that goal, Lee, and thank you both for the warm welcome! I work a pretty crazy schedule currently, but I hope to be pretty active on the message boards to give myself a boost in willpower (and hopefully help others do the same!)
Just wanted to say, Welcome to our South Bend Spark team! Are you interested in participating in a February challenge to lose 6 pounds by the end of next month? Watch for the thread, I'll be posting this new February challenge on the South Bend team.

Welcome to the South Bend Team Mindy. We're here to support and cheer for each other as we all work to be the healthiest we can be.
So I've been on spark people for a little bit and hadn't explored the boards here at all....until now. :-) I'm glad there is a local group!
My name is Mindy. I am 30 years old. I am engaged to be married. I have two children of my own and a soon-to-be step son. I currently work in a very active job, but somehow I still manage to hold on to the fat!! I'll soon be going back to school and leaving my job. I'm scared I'll pack on even more weight when that happens. I would really like to get to a healthy BMI and look great when we decide on a date to tie the knot. I'd also like to show my children that eating healthy is important and so is the willpower to make changes in life.
