Kristi,
1st I want to say thank you for sharing your story. Congrats on quiting smoking I also quit August 2008, one of the best things I was able to do for myself. Also congrats on the weight loss.
My mother passed away last June due to a brain anyerism that had burst, which was caused by poor health and smoking approx. 3 packs per day. She went into the hospital May 20th I believe it was a couple weeks after I had originally joined Sparkpeople. I stopped and then this past January 7th {my birthday} I knew I had to start living my life, being healthier, and be the one who makes the decisions regarding life in general.
I love the way I feel, {my boobs are getting smaller...not so happy about that, but I am good with it}I feel as though I have a new zest for life not only from the weight loss but because of how I have decided to live my life for the first time ever.
To say the least I think we have many similarities in our stories and both have wonderful reasons to be "DONE" sisters.
I wish you all the luck in the world and an amazing journey...be blessed by you and everything will come right into place.
