Well, I was on here about a year ago and never really stuck to getting to know anybody to get the support that is dreadfully needed to keep up motivation when trying to lose weight. I stumbled across the site again yesterday and decided "Why not?" I've tried everything and am only getting "worse" as I liked to call it. The muffin top drives me up a wall and my clothes don't fit, stomach always hurting and constantly having to unbutton my pants at work (I have to wear LONG shirts on those days) and it gets humiliating.
My husband tries to be supportive but I kinda won't let him. I guess when he tries to support and push me the way I need to be pushed I feel like he isn't attracted to the person he married. Thats when I hit bottom and gain about 5 more pounds onto the weight I've been carrying for years.
So after trying Slim Fast, NutraSystem, Atkins, and whatever I am ready to make a LIFE STYLE change and try not to focus on the numbers and focus my hardest on feeling better and looking good TO MYSELF.
So After reading this LONG post *LOL* I am looking for some ideas from those of you who have reached your goals, are on the path of reaching your goals and those of you who are starting out just like I am. Food wise and workout wise. I guess you can just use this spot as a testimonial and idea chamber. Thanks for your time and support. Everyone on Spark is so AWESOME and kind.
